Programme Manager - Data and Analytics (Pharma/Life sciences) (Contract)

Location: Macclesfield, United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: 550.00£/day inside IR35
 

We are looking for a seasoned Programme Manager with extensive experience in leading complex initiatives, particularly in the realm of data and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of a strategic program, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a strategic program focused on data and analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Define the program scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop a comprehensive project plan to guide execution.
    • Establish and maintain effective governance structures, processes, and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and address issues or risks proactively.
    • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements and expectations, and ensure alignment of the program with their strategic priorities.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork.
    • Manage the program budget, resources, and timelines effectively, optimizing resource allocation and mitigating any potential risks or dependencies.
    • Provide regular updates and status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, achievements, risks, and issues.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, driving continuous innovation and excellence in program delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
    • Proven track record of success in managing complex programs, particularly in the field of data and analytics.
    • Strong understanding of data management principles, analytics technologies, and best practices in data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in working with senior executives and managing their expectations to drive timely delivery and achieve desired outcomes.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to overcoming challenges and obstacles.
    • Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
